Register and Download the LTP Program
OK, now that you've blown by the Conditions Of Use!, they basically say Register, Reference the 'LTP' program abstract and website (www.ltp-program.com), and send me a Reprint. And dont sue me if it doesn't work!
Register
Please register this software with the author by emailing me ([email protected]) your name, email address and laboratory address. This means registering (or sending me an email if you are just updating!) every time you download a new version of the 'LTP' program. This is so I can have some vague idea of who is actually using the 'LTP' program. Currently less than 50% of the people downloading the 'LTP' program even bother to email me.
Reference
Please reference the 'LTP' program in your paper. The LTP program could be referenced in the Methods section by something like this (assuming your journal accepts websites):
Data acquisition and on-line analysis was performed using the LTP program (Anderson and Collingridge, 1997; www.ltp-program.com).
Or if your journal does not allow abstracts to be referenced:
Data acquisition and on-line analysis was performed using the LTP program (W.W. Anderson, Univ of Bristol; www.ltp-program.com).
Reprint
Please send me a Reprint of your paper when published. If your journal does not allow you to reference abstracts, this is the only way I know your paper has used the 'LTP' program.
Download
The files you need to run the LTP program (version 1.14J) and print out the LTP manual (version 1.13) are in the self-extracting zip file LTP114JZ.EXE. Create a directory in your computer (it might as well be C:\LTP114J), and then download the LTP114JZ.EXE file into that directory.
Then double-click on the LTP114JZ.EXE file to execute it to self-extract all the files in it.
After doing this you will have a directory called C:\LTP114J containing the following files: BUGOCT99.DOC (the bug report file), LTP114J.EXE (the main LTP program), DOS4GW.EXE (the 32-bit DOS extender), LTPVGA.FON (a font file required by the LTP program), and MAN113.DOC (the LTP manual).
Then open MAN113.DOC with Microsoft Word and print it out to your printer. (MAN113.DOC is a 102 page manual, 15 MB in size, and formatted as an A4 document.)
If you are unable to download the LTP program send an email request to: [email protected] and I will mail you a disk containing the LTP program and manual.
